Dědková, Markéta ; Rynda, Ivan (advisor) ; Heřmanová, Marie (referee)
The aim of the thesis is the study of the phenomenon of environmental influencers and their relationship with responsibility. The theoretical part defines the nature of these modern opinion leaders from generations Y and Z. Moreover, it approaches the concept of responsibility from an ethical standpoint with focus placed on its environmental dimensions, and differentiates between its three constitutive aspects - the object, referential subject and the subject. Finally, the examination is grounded in the contextual framework of an individualized society defined by its increased emphasis on the role of an individual. The research part analyses the approach of social media influencers towards responsibility for their actions in the digital domain and the extent to which they are aware of their respective influences. It further examines whom they hold responsible for the climate crisis and the role of the individual in this context. Through qualitative research methods, including the analysis of shared content and semi-structured interviews, the thesis details the various approaches taken by the subjects of the study and subsequently subdivides them into two categories: educators and lifestyle influencers. Individual approaches cannot be fully generalized, however, it can be observed that increased...

Veselá, Martina ; Stracený, Josef (advisor) ; Lánský, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis compares the electoral programmes of green political parties in the Federal Republic of Germany, the Republic of Austria, and the Czech Republic in the years 1990- 2014, namely the German party Alliance '90/The Greens, the Austrian party The Greens - The Green Alternative, and the Czech Green Party. The beginning of the work provides an explanation of the concepts related to green politics, such as ecology, environmentalism, environment and sustainable development, whose knowledge is essential for understanding the major themes of the electoral programmes. Subsequently, the origin and history of all three political parties are outlined. The actual comparison is performed in a twofold manner. The first one compares the content of a specific programme with the previous ones and the second one compares the programmes of all three green parties for the same or the close electoral period. Furthermore, the format of individual programmes is characterized. Attention is focused on the major thematic areas, similarities and differences, and on the position of these parties before and after a particular parliamentary election being held.

Šilhavý, Petr ; Hejlová, Denisa (advisor) ; Shavit, Anna (referee)
The bachelor thesis Specifics of marketing communication of Greenpeace ČR organization presents the Czech affiliate of global non-governmental environmental organization Greenpeace. This thesis looks at the organization from the marketing point of view perspective. Its objective is to identify specific marketing activities of Greenpeace ČR between years 2010 - 2012 on the basis of situational analysis of representative campaigns. Rehabilitation of the sensuous world from the environmental perspective of David Abram.
Slovák, Ľuboš ; Daněk, Tomáš (advisor) ; Jaroš, Filip (referee)
This thesis is an attempt to reflect on the theme of phenomena and sensuous world in the context of environmentalism. It deals with the condemnation of phenomena in the modern era science and especially in the contemporary neo-Darwinian biology, and with various attempts at rehabilitation of sensory perception as a relevant way of relating to the world in biology (Adolf Portmann, Hans Driesch) and philosophy (phenomenology, particularly Maurice Merleau-Ponty). The main subject of the thesis is the eco- phenomenology of David Abram and a comparison of his approach with the one held by contemporary biology. Based on this comparison it is argued in what manner may the thoughts of David Abram, and the effort to rehabilitate phenomena in general, be of benefit to the environmental discourse, particularly in terms of forming an original epistemology and ontology and concerning the ethical motivations. KEYWORDS: Abram, phenomenon, environmentalism, neo-Darwinism, phenomenology, eco-phenomenology

Kučaba, Martin ; Remr, Jiří (advisor) ; Tuček, Milan (referee)
This bachelor thesis examines the decision-making process of purchasing durable goods, aiming to explore how a consumer in the purchasing process is influenced by his/her primary social groups. This thesis also looks at what are the specific influences of individual members, and what kind of roles these members have. At the same time, it examines the sentiment towards e-mobility in the buyer's social environment. The practical part of the thesis itself is based on qualitative research in which six interviews with EV owners were conducted. During the interviews, the respondents were retrospectively coming back to their past purchasing experiences. The transcripts of the interviews were then analysed using the open coding method, which allowed to make some remarkable findings. The results of this study show the changing influence of the primary social group on consumers at different stages of the purchase process. The tendency of buyers to selectively filter only the positive comments was also revealed, especially at the beginning of the car purchase decision process. The main findings of this thesis point out the undoubted influence of partners on the purchase process. Results also capture a significant difference between the influence of the family of procreation and family of orientation on the...

Islam and the Environment: Ecological Problems in the view of Contemporary Islamic Jurists and Philosophers
Koláček, Jakub ; Ťupek, Pavel (advisor) ; Novák, Ľubomír (referee)
This thesis analyzes contemporary interpretations of Islamic religious ethics regarding the environment and its problems. The first part introduces a theoretical perspective in which the analyzed problem is viewed as historico-sociological problem of interaction between the modern phenomena of environmentalism and the traditional framework of religious ethics. The object of the second part is a close analysis and summary of those parts of the religious textual tradition which are included in the contemporary ethico-religious interpretations of environmental problems. In the third part, three separate discourses of contemporary Islamic environmental ethics and two other perspectives are distinguished and analysed using texts which represent them, published on this topic in English and Arabic. On this material common features of Islamic ethical attitude towards the nature and environmental problems are demonstrated as well as notable differences between the interpretations of jurists, layman activists, institutions and other actors. Attentions is paid to various possible relations between modern environmental concepts and notions and traditional ethico- religious Islamic tenets including their possible political and social implications.
